Making Cocoa
- Gently warm 3 cups of milk in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming. Avoid boiling.
- Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons of sugar (or honey), and a pinch of salt to the warm milk. Whisk until smooth.
- Stir in 0.75 cup of chopped white chocolate, allowing it to melt into the cocoa mixture.
- Remove from heat and stir in 1 tablespoon of fresh orange zest and 0.25 teaspoon of almond extract.
- Pour the cocoa into mugs, top with additional orange zest or whipped cream if desired, and enjoy.
