  • 1 tablespoon Orange zest for aromatic richness
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cinnamon lends warmth and coziness

Method
 

Steps to Make
  1. In a medium saucepan, mix the fresh cranberries, crushed pineapple with juice, granulated sugar, orange juice, water, and ground cinnamon. Stir well to incorporate everything evenly.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and gently bring the mixture to a boil. Watch it closely as the cranberries begin to pop.
  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low. Let the sauce simmer for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. About a minute before it's done, stir in the orange zest.
  5. Remove the sauce from heat and allow it to cool. If not serving immediately, refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
