Ingredients
  

For the Biscuit Dough
  • 2 cups Biscuit mix quick base
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese (shredded) for richness
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • ¾ cup Milk whole milk preferred
For the Crab Filling
  • 8 ounces Crab meat (lump or claw) fresh preferred
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest for brightness
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley (chopped) for freshness
  • ½ cup Cheddar cheese (optional) for extra richness
For the Lemon Butter Glaze
  • ¼ cup Butter (melted) for glaze
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice (fresh)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley (chopped) for garnish

Method
 

Biscuit Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the biscuit mix, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and milk in a large bowl. Mix until the dough comes together.
  3. Portion the biscuit dough into 12 equal balls and flatten them slightly.
Crab Filling Preparation
  1. Prepare the crab filling by gently mixing the crab meat, mayonnaise, lemon zest, Old Bay seasoning, chopped parsley, and optional cheddar cheese.
  2. Spoon a generous amount of the crab mixture into the center of each flattened dough piece. Seal the dough around the filling.
Baking
  1. Place the sealed biscuits seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Mix the melted butter, fresh lemon juice, garlic powder, and chopped parsley in a small bowl. Brush this mixture over the warm biscuits as soon as they come out of the oven.
