Biscuit Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the biscuit mix, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and milk in a large bowl. Mix until the dough comes together.
- Portion the biscuit dough into 12 equal balls and flatten them slightly.
Crab Filling Preparation
- Prepare the crab filling by gently mixing the crab meat, mayonnaise, lemon zest, Old Bay seasoning, chopped parsley, and optional cheddar cheese.
- Spoon a generous amount of the crab mixture into the center of each flattened dough piece. Seal the dough around the filling.
Baking
- Place the sealed biscuits seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix the melted butter, fresh lemon juice, garlic powder, and chopped parsley in a small bowl. Brush this mixture over the warm biscuits as soon as they come out of the oven.
