  • ¼ cup Butter or coconut oil melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Fruity Add-ins
  • 2 cups Apples diced fresh
  • 1 cup Raisins or walnuts optional; chocolate chips are a fun alternative

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish.
  2. Combine rolled oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk together the milk, eggs, maple syrup, melted butter, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  4. Mix the wet and dry ingredients together until just combined, then fold in the diced apples and any optional add-ins.
  5. Pour the oatmeal mixture into your prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until it’s set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Cool the baked oatmeal slightly before slicing it into squares.
